Blancpain Replica Watches held a panel discussion about men's health in a convivial and creative space at Carousel Restaurant, London. The campaign was launched with the Blancpain Replica Watches Movember Edition, Big Crown Pointer date. Blancpain Replica Watches, in keeping with its ethos of using fine watchmaking to support charitable causes, has set an ambitious goal to raise 100,000 Swiss Francs (£95,000) in November for the Movember campaign, which encourages men to be more active in their mental and physical health, and to raise money to fund cancer research.
During his introduction to the panel, Ulrich W. Herzog (Blancpain Replica Watches) said, "It's been two years since we became partners with the Movember Foundation." They are in line with the company's strategy, "Move to the Better", which includes not only men’s health, but also the health of the Oceans and other areas where we work. We thought that the concept of Movember and its fight against cancer, as well as for men's and women's health was an excellent element on which to collaborate and reach out to different people. This was the beginning of our partnership with Movember."
The Movember Foundation, Blancpain Replica Watches and Scott Poynton have gathered three men to represent their Movember campaign: Dr. Johannes Wimmer (The Doc), Miguel Gutierrez and Scott Poynton. Poynton is an Australian Forester who lives in Gingins, Switzerland. He works with the Forest Trust to inspire people through "Walk and Talks", in which he invites them to walk up La Dole, a mountain in Switzerland, and raise money and awareness for Movember. Dr. Wimmer from Berlin created a YouTube Channel that aims at making men's health accessible. He also works regularly in the ER with patients suffering from post-traumatic disorder. Gutierrez is a barber who has shops in London, Berlin and other cities. He created a web series called Nomad Barber, which explores barbering around the world and encourages men, particularly in the barber chair, to be more honest about their problems. Herzog, Sarah Coghlan (Global Director of Men's Health Promotion Programs at the Movember Foundation) and Jasmine Hemsley - a celebrity chef and writer from London - joined the crew during the panel.
Each panelist discussed why men may find it difficult to open up about their mental and physical health and why it is important to encourage them to do so. Dr. Wimmer said: "If you're going to get people to care about their health, and to focus on it, you need to make the message appealing." It is a way to encourage people to take the next step in their health.
Coghlan's perspective was the best. He explained why Blancpain Replica Watches and their relationship were so appropriate: "At last, men die six years younger on average than women around the globe. It's largely due to preventable causes. This partnership is so interesting to me, because Blancpain Replica Watches exists to give men more free time, with their families and doing the things they love. This is a partnership that's all about time. And people want to have more of it. It's all about quality. How can we spend our time more wisely in ways that enrich us,Patek Philippe Replica build us up and prevent disease? For me, the most important thing is social connection. "Men don't often have the same depth and breadth in friendships as women do later in life. We need to give them the tools, the permission, and the nod that says that friendships are important. These are the most protective things that you can take with you through life. Invest in them and spend your time with people that care about you."
